Association Noosphere cultivates sports activities even in conditions of self-isolation. On May 23, we held our first online Noosphere Chess IT Cup. The tournament was held on the lichess.org platform and brought together logic game enthusiasts from all over Ukraine. 30 participants competed for the title of the best chess player.
Noosphere Chess IT Cup gathered IT-specialists of the following companies: Govitall, ISD, Privatbank, Commercegate, Firefly Aerospace, Ignited, Molfar, Together Networks, SoftServe, and VRG Soft. Freelancers and students from Lviv Polytechnic National University, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, “Step” Сomputer Academy, Mate Academy, and A.S. Popov Odesa National Academy of Communications also joined the ranks of competitors. While our Noosphereans joined the competition we didn’t take the winning positions.
Although all participants showed great talents, only the luckiest finalists moved on. The winners of this first online Noosphere Chess IT Cup are:
