Innovative technologies in education and popularization of STEM education were the topic of discussion at the Macer IT Race 2023 festival, which took place on June 20-21 at the International Humanitarian University in Odesa. NGO “Association Noosphere” shared its experience in this field.
Macer IT Race 2023 is a festival of innovation that aims to share best practices in STEM education and modern learning approaches. Since Association Noosphere has considerable experience in popularizing STEM, the organization’s specialists spoke to festival participants about the organization’s work teaching robotics and rocket modeling.
Association Noosphere held a robotics workshop using VEX IQ constructors. Almost a hundred attendees learned how to integrate VEX robots into the educational process, while 12 young engineers created and programmed their own robots and competed in a mission for speed and mobility.
Space enthusiasts had the opportunity to attend a rocket modeling workshop. 20 children were instructed on the basics of model rocket sports, learned a lot about the laws of physics and aerodynamics, and created their first model rockets.
During the event, the NGO “Association Noosphere” and the International Humanitarian University outlined future vectors of cooperation, confirming their plans by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation.
