On 1-3, September, the 1st FAI International Drones Conference and Expo took place in Lausanne, Switzerland. The Conference and Expo are part of the EPFL Drone Days 2017, a global gathering hub for drones. The landmark event couldn’t have taken place without FAI’s global tech partner Noosphere Ventures, managed by Max Polyakov.

On June 3-4, the Meteor Sport Complex in Dnipro hosted one of the largest tech events in Ukraine, BestRoboFest 2017. As a festival of technology, innovation and robotics, this year’s event program included a variety of robot design competitions, presentations of modern technology solutions at expo-zone, the drone racing championship, open air action at art & play zones, and much more to see, participate in and enjoy.

With New Years right around the corner and everyone enjoying the holiday spirit, it is a great time to take stock of 2016. What made this year so special to Noosphere? Quite a lot, actually! Let’s take quick look back and remember all the milestones we passed together this year.

On September 23, the Noosphere Engineering School was pleased to have Leonid Kuchma, the second President of Ukraine, attend the opening ceremony of the Space Lab.

On September 24, Copter Race 2016 was held in Dnipro. This formula 1 race for aerial drones was the fourth battle of its kind organized by Noosphere Engineering School. The first time the event was held was in 2015 – Copter Race 2015, then as part of BestRoboFest 2016 and finally at the World Championships for Space Models 2016

On the 14th of September the first session of the “IT Dnipro Children” school was held at the Dnipro City Library with the support of the Noosphere Engineering School.
