Max Polyakov’s EOS and Noosphere at 1st FAI International Drones Conference

On 1-3, September, the 1st FAI International Drones Conference and Expo took place in Lausanne, Switzerland. The Conference and Expo are part of the EPFL Drone Days 2017, a global gathering hub for drones. The landmark event couldn’t have taken place without FAI’s global tech partner Noosphere Ventures, managed by Max Polyakov.

Max Polyakov fosters Maker movement in Ukraine with BestRoboFest 2017

On June 3-4, the Meteor Sport Complex in Dnipro hosted one of the largest tech events in Ukraine, BestRoboFest 2017. As a festival of technology, innovation and robotics, this year’s event program included a variety of robot design competitions, presentations of modern technology solutions at expo-zone, the drone racing championship, open air action at art & play zones, and much more to see, participate in and enjoy.

World Air Sports Federation (FAI) Holds Student Hackathon “Best Deviсe For FAI” with Help from Noosphere and Max Polyakov

On May 27, 2017, Association Noosphere hosted the student innovation tournament “Best Deviсe For FAI”. The tournament was dedicated to a specific tech challenge FAI is currently facing in Ballooning, which was tackled by six teams from the most prominent Ukrainian universities.

On May 12, 2017, Association Noosphere joined with GDM Group hosted its first marketing tailored event, the Noosphere Marketing Conference (NooMa Conf). Inspired by Chan Kim’s “Blue Ocean” theory, organizers adopted an ocean theme to dive into the exciting world of marketing.

Noospherians to Rock Team America Rocketry Challenge

May 13, 2017 was a milestone for Ukrainian amateur rocketry, as the student team from Noosphere Engineering School landed in Washington D.C. and took part in The Team America Rocketry Challenge 2017 (TARC). Ukrainian rocketeers had never participated in such a large amateur rocketry challenge before.

Noosphere hosted NASA Space Apps Challenge 2017 in Dnipro

April 29-30 marked the second NASA Space Apps Challenge in Ukraine. This year the global network of host cities was expanded to the city of Dnipro thanks to Association Noosphere, founded by Max Polyakov. Team Spacer from Dnipro worked their way into the Top10 in international voting and ended up taking a prestigious 8th place.
