Young Artists Invited to Be Part of a Space Record

The sixth annual Noosphere Space Art Challenge, a children’s space-themed drawing competition, is now open for submissions. Young artists can submit their work from March 3 to April 27, with the event aiming to set a new national record in Ukraine.

As in previous years, the competition is organized by NGO “Association Noosphere.” This year’s theme is Expedition to Uncharted Worlds. Children and teenagers aged 3 to 17, both in Ukraine and abroad, are invited to participate.

To enter the Noosphere Space Art Challenge, participants need to create an original drawing that reflects the theme Expedition to Uncharted Worlds and submit it via the official website: https://noospherespace.art/. There are no strict requirements regarding technique, format, or color scheme—the key is to showcase a unique artistic vision.

For the first time, the competition features a special AI-generated artwork category, encouraging young artists to explore not only space but also cutting-edge technologies.

On May 16, a panel of judges will select the best artworks from three age groups (3–7, 8–12, and 13–17 years old), announcing nine winners who will receive memorable prizes. A separate award will be given for the best AI-generated artwork. Additionally, all participants, as well as the most active schools, kindergartens, and educational institutions along with their teachers, will receive certificates of participation.

The Noosphere Space Art Challenge has been held in Ukraine since 2019. Over the past five years, 58,636 participants have joined the initiative, including 28,576 in 2024 alone. This remarkable number of submissions has inspired an official record attempt: the Association Noosphere has applied to the National Register of Records to officially recognize this as Ukraine’s largest online children’s space art competition.
