The NooScene creative space, located in Dnipro’s Gagarin Park, has officially begun its 2023 season. The venue held its first public event of the summer on June 8.
NooScene is an open-air venue where anyone can host their event for free. In addition to its picturesque location, the space provides seating for guests, sound equipment, access to a projector, and power. NooScene is available for educational, cultural, entertainment, sporting, and other public events.
Association Noosphere opened the summer season at NooScene with an open event on the history of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Svyatoslav Chiruk, deputy director of the Dnipro History Museum, spoke about the city’s Cossack past, while his colleague Valeriya Lavrenko from the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast National Historical Museum, provided a virtual tour of the archaeological excavations at Balka Kantserka. All guests had the opportunity to take part in a workshop on the history of technology, as well as win prizes from Noosphere during a trivia quiz.
During the event, organizers spoke to audiences about opportunities to hold their own events at NooScene. Those interested need only go to gagarinpark.dp.ua, navigate to the NooScene section, choose a free date (no later than three days before the planned event), and make an online reservation. The site is able to host guests from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
We are looking forward to a bright, exciting, entertaining NooScene summer!
