Ahead of St. Nicholas Day, NGO ” Association Noosphere” continued its tradition of visiting the Zoryany Educational and Rehabilitation Center in Dnipro. As part of the Space Heritage UA project, they organized an engaging event for the center’s students.
High school students prepared a video presentation about Ukraine’s space legacy, with a special focus on Dnipro and its region. The presentation highlighted prominent scientists, engineers, astronauts, and designers. It also featured the legendary “Pivdenmash” enterprise, recognized as a leader in Ukraine’s space industry.
The older students shared their work with younger classmates, helping them discover fascinating facts about Ukrainian space achievements. The goal was to spark curiosity and inspire participation in themed competitions.
For younger students, a hands-on workshop was held where they crafted and painted wooden rockets. The children showed creativity, decorating their rockets in the colors of the Ukrainian flag or experimenting with unique color combinations. They also enjoyed face painting with space designs, creating patterns featuring planets and spacecraft.
All participants left the event with gifts from the Association Noosphere, along with great memories and new knowledge about space.
