Ukrainian Kids’ Drawings to Be Featured on Bank Card Designs

The annual Noosphere Space Art Challenge is underway — and this year, 12 of the submitted artworks will be turned into digital bank card designs in the Sense Bank mobile app.

This is the sixth year of the Noosphere Space Art Challenge, an international art competition organized by Association Noosphere to encourage creativity among children and teens while sparking interest in space and technology. Kids and teens between the ages of 3 and 17, both in Ukraine and abroad, are welcome to take part.

To join the challenge, participants just need to create an artwork on the theme “Expedition to Unknown Worlds” and submit it through an online form on the official website. Entry is free.

On May 16, 2025, a panel of judges will choose the best drawings from each age group (3–7, 8–12, and 13–17). Nine winners will receive special prizes. There will also be a separate award for a piece created with the help of artificial intelligence.

In addition, Sense Bank, the competition’s main partner, will select 12 artworks to turn into custom digital bank card designs. These will be available in the Sense SuperApp, so anyone using the app can choose a design and support young Ukrainian artists.

“Supporting children’s creativity is a social investment in the future,” said Inna Tyutiun, a member of the Sense Bank management board. “We believe that the imagination and curiosity behind these drawings help shape not only each child’s growth, but also the future of our country. That’s why we’re proud to be part of the Noosphere Space Art Challenge and help share their visions of the universe with thousands of people.”

This year, Association Noosphere has also applied to the National Register of Records of Ukraine to officially recognize the challenge as the largest space-themed children’s art competition in the country. Last year’s contest saw a record-breaking 28,576 young artists take part. Since its launch in 2019, a total of 58,636 kids have joined the initiative.

You can find more details and submit your entry on the competition’s official website.
